For BCA course you need to pass 12th with a minimum of 45% to 50% marks. But some college requires more than 50% marks for admission in BCA.

Any stream student can do BCA course but it is easy for a math student. Because in BCA course you need to study math subject. An art student can also do BCA but they may face difficulty because of the math subject.

In some colleges, they maintain criteria to take admission in BCA. They use to take only science student for BCA course. But in many college general student can also take admission in BCA.

After 12th you can go for BCA course admission. Some college takes entrance exam but most of the college take direct admission in BCA.

What do you need to study in BCA course?

First of all, come to BCA. It is a three-year course divided into 6 semesters. After every six months, you need to give a semester exam and that you have to pass the exam. Then only you will be able to join next semester.

For BCA study you need to know the basics of the computer because it will help in your BCA study. The course gives you knowledge about many subjects.

In the first semester, you will study about basics. And in that, you will study digital computer fundamental, C program, foundational mathematics, statics etc.

In the second semester, you will study an operating system, data structure, visual programming lab etc.
And next semester you will study of c++, computer network, Jawa, Web technology, programming lab, web designing, graphics, animation, multimedia application etc.

There are many colleges in India who provide BCA course. You can do BCA from both Government or Private college. You can also do BCA from outside the country.
You can do BCA from any college but the college should provide a better lab facility. Because BCA is a study of about practice.
